UnitedHealthcare Choice and Choice Plus: Give your employees the freedom to see any physician they choose, even specialists, without a referral. Selecting a primary physician to guide health and health care decision-making is recommended, but not required.

UnitedHealthcare Select and Select Plus: Let your employees choose a primary physician who follows the employee’s medical history and coordinates health care. In some health benefit plans, this physician also provides referrals when another physician or specialist is required.

UnitedHealthcare Options (PPO): Provides referral-free access to our largest network a growing national network of over 325,000 physicians and specialists, and over 3,000 hospitals. Most likely their current physicians are already members, or they can visit non-network physicians with no reduction in benefits.

UnitedHealthcare Options PPO 80/80: An incredibly flexible plan that lets your employees make their own health care decisions. They can visit any licensed medical provider for any covered health service. Plus, when they visit network physicians, hospitals or health care providers, they can save with reduced rates and fees we have already negotiated.
